There's no bell, no rushing between activities — just a gentle, familiar shape to the day that helps children feel safe and know what comes next.
We keep a short morning window for arrival so every child settles in before the day's rhythm begins. Beyond care, we're teaching children to build a relationship with time and structure, one they carry home with them too.
The day opens gently — a warm welcome, a shared breakfast together, and a morning circle full of songs, rhymes, fingerplay, and stories that set a calm, connected tone for everything that follows.
Children move into hands-on work — kneading dough, painting, and other practical life activities that build focus, fine motor skill, and quiet pride in real, tactile work.
Whenever weather allows, we head outside to climb, run, and explore — followed by a shared lunch together and a gentle wind-down into rest time in the early afternoon.
After rest, the afternoon unfolds with a snack together, imaginative dress-up and storytelling, and quiet creative time with puzzles, playdough, and arts and crafts as the day winds down toward pickup.
Children from about one year old through school age grow together here, with activities suited to where each child is developmentally.
Our youngest children spend their days observing, exploring textures, and soaking in language simply by being around older kids. Naps are longer and more frequent at this age.
Language grows quickly here, through play and constant interaction with older children. This is also when we begin gentle potty-training support, at each family's own pace.
More complex crafts, longer stretches of focused play, and the beginnings of real responsibility — our oldest children often skip nap time and take on a natural leadership role with the little ones.
